I was humbled by you guys this weekend.
You left comments, you emailed, you posted on my FB page. Your support of my kid, whom 98% of you haven't met, left me a tad speechless and teary-eyed and just emotional. She has no idea, and I don't know that she ever will, just how many people she has cheering for her.
A new-ish person left this comment:
(For the record, Tanay, I didn't think you sound creep-esque at all. Lots of people love my kid from afar. She's awesome like that.)
You guys, she is so right. I DO have a great group of readers, and followers, and I honestly cannot tell you all how much I appreciate you. How much I appreciate your support of my girl, of her struggles, your prayers and thoughts and emails that say 'Jess, you don't suck, GOOD JOB'.
So. My point is to say thank you. I know I didn't reply via email to all of you, mostly because I spent the weekend dealing with behavior issues from my older two children who seem to believe that the entire world revolves around them.
You guys rock.

HAH I am glad she said it because Carl knows who all your kids are and I feel like a creep because I haven't met them, or even you (yet!). But yes, lots of people love your kids from afar, including me. I root for Cass when she's being sassy, Gabe when he has school troubles (and am also in awe of your incredible ability to help him through them with ease), Liv when she has even the smallest improvement because I know it's monumental for her, and Maddie because I know she's rapidly turning you gray and she makes me laugh so much. You have such a special family and I pink puffy heart that we text now. Blog friends rock.
